Starting with the blistering electronic hip-hop of “Helium Disco” by Innerstance.Beatbox, this compilation runs the gamut from glitch to sample-filled jams. These are all top-quality tracks. Detalles’ micro-electronics create mini-labyrinths. Del Ray’s guitars rock out. String Theory predicts parallel universes of noise and dance beats, while Miles Tilmann’s squelchy beats and soft melodies reach back ten years.
There are big names here, including Mr. Projectile, Caural, and Skam’s Alder & Elius, along with some up-and-coming artists. Despite the diversity, these tracks work well together, and there are some exclusives to boot.
